Also, for those who frequent our place every single year, you already know this but for those who aren’t regulars, our hours of operation varies throughout the season. In the beginning of EVERY season, because we have young folks working for us, we are only open until 8pm Sun-Thurs. This has literally never changed as long as I’ve worked at Mr. Bill’s. Never. We have only recently changed the hours on Friday and Saturdays for the beginning of the season, which is 11a-9p. It’s an absolute nightmare to keep changing our hours through Google. I’ve done it twice and Google likes to change the hours back to whatever it wants. So to be clear, until school is out for the summer......Sun-Thurs 11a-8p, Fri &Sat 11a-9p. Thank you!!

One more announcement folks that I left out of my previous post today, so I apologize. We were visited by the health department this past Friday. Was given an A grade with the comment flawless. We are only part of a handful of businesses like ours who haven’t been cited once for any reason since the COVID restrictions began in April. With that being said, he asked us about our restroom availability. We told him we don’t provide public restrooms at this time because of Covid.... He applauded this. So we want to reiterate, folks, we cannot provide public restrooms. It’s for the safety of our staff as we do not have separate restroom facilities, we use the same restroom as y’all. It’s absolutely impossible for us to sanitize the restrooms after each customer use. The health inspector agreed and told us we are doing the right thing. So for those who aren’t aware, we are terribly sorry for the inconvenience but our restrooms aren’t open to the public this year. Hopefully next year will be different. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday September 1st, our hours of operation will change to 11am-8pm. Also, as of tomorrow, carhop will no longer be provided. If you choose to come see us, please bring your masks as our policy of no mask, no service is still in full effect. We have had the best season to date thanks to all of you despite the threats of our policies will cause us to lose business or not do well this season. Thanks to the vast majority of you, those threats were fruitless!! We will be closing our doors for the season October 1st, we hope to close the season strong with the help of our faithfuls! Good morning folks!! We have two announcements today. First thing is we are closed today, Tuesday August 4th, due to the weather. Second thing is starting tomorrow, Wednesday, carhop is from noon to 8pm daily for the rest of the season. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here, through private message OR call the restaurant during business hours. Again, thank you for your patronage and we hope you enjoy your day!

Tentatively, we are shooting for this coming Wednesday the 17th for opening the miniature golf course. We have some repairs to do and major cleaning still. We only have so many man hours to get this done. This is why the 17th is our goal but not completely solid. So our suggestion would be to call the restaurant first if golfing is the only reason for your trip. It may save you the drive. Thank you in advance!!

Flavors of the week are Peanut butter/chocolate PB twist and Orange/Orange Vanilla twist. Flavor burst flavors are still the same. I’m only one person and I’m trying to do the best I can managing this page. I’m the only adult staff that uses Facebook, so I’m it. I’ve had some personal things going on, so I haven’t been able to update as much as I would like unless it’s an urgent issue that needs to be addressed. I haven’t been at work much. Soft serve flavors this week, besides the normal chocolate and vanilla are Blueberry/Blueberry Vanilla twist and Salted Caramel/Salted Caramel Chocolate twist. Enjoy!!

Hello everybody!! It’s extremely unfortunate and frustrating that we have to revisit this topic again but after the incidents today, apparently it needs to be addressed again. Under no circumstances will anyone be served standing in line without a mask. Whether it’s not a law, or you feel your rights are being violated, or you medically cannot wear one, we cannot and will not serve you in line. We have not said once that we won’t serve you at all, just will not serve you ...in line. Carhop and/or sending someone who can/will wear a mask are two alternative options. This post is meant to be informational, not confrontational. So there is no debate. Your constitutional rights are not being violated. As a matter of fact, as a private business, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone unless it infringes on your basic human rights. Which, of course, we would never do. It’s an executive order, an order we intend to uphold until we are told it’s no longer necessary. See more

Good evening folks, we have another announcement to make. Starting Monday, June 1st, we are extending our hours until 9pm every day until, usually, school starts back up in September. We hope this makes a few of you happy as we still get folks coming in after 8pm thinking we are open. And just to clarify, for future reference, under normal circumstances (without pandemic limitations), our hours during school until summer break have ALWAYS been 11-8 Sunday through Thursday. That has always been the case. We have never been open until 9pm during these days while school is still going. But anyways, we hope you enjoy your weekend and hope to see everyone at some point! Thank you for your continued support and understanding!!

As of yesterday, we started enforcing our zero tolerance face coverings requirement. Most folks were understanding and gave us no issues when approached. We just wanted to get the word out again that if you aren’t wearing a mask, we politely ask you to either send someone in your party who has a mask to place your order or you may park on the carhop side and we will come to your vehicle to take your order. Please share this to get the word out!!! Thank you all again for the loyalty and patronage you show us every season!!

Great news folks!!! Our flavor burst machine is now functional!! So this is what we have.....soft serve flavor of the week is MINT! So your options are Mint/MINT-Chocolate, Chocolate, Vanilla, Twist, Strawberry and our Flavor Burst flavors this week are Black Cherry AND Purple Grape. Come get some!!!!

The second issue we want to address is FACE COVERINGS/MASKS. We made an announcement about this roughly two weeks ago. At first, things got better, more folks were showing up with masks than not. But the past week has gotten out of hand and we have noticed that it’s now the opposite. The vast majority of our visitors are not covering their faces. From the elderly on down to children. Sometimes entire families. We have been lenient with our request because, like I said, at fir...st people were obliging our request. The original plea was from management, the owner had no involvement in our decision to enforce this. This time is different. Our owner is now requesting this as well. Starting MONDAY, MAY 18th 2020, if you aren’t wearing something that PROPERLY covers your face, we WILL NOT SERVE YOU, there will be zero exceptions!! This is for the safety and piece of mind of our customers. Regardless of political or medical opinions and views, we ask you to save the retort, we just respectfully ask you to comply with our request as we truly don’t want to turn anyone away. We will have big and bright signs around the property reminding folks of this request in the event you forget. If you do not have masks for your entire party, we suggest the carhop option OR just sending the individuals who do have face coverings to the window to place your order. We truly thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding and above all, YOUR PATRONAGE!!! Hopefully things will loosen up soon and we can carry on like before!! We have two announcements folks that will be addressed in two separate posts.........the first thing we wanted to address is our hours of operation. We are open from 11am to 8pm. This is not negotiable, we are a privately owned restaurant, these are the hours set by the owner. These have ALWAYS been our hours Sunday through Thursday until school is out for the summer anyways. ALWAYS!!! But these are our hours every day (for now) because of the pandemic, because of the original executive order of the governor urging people to be home by 8 AND because we have young ladies who work for us, we are fortunate their parents allow them to be working. So, to show our gratitude, we try to have them home before 9pm. We appreciate your understanding!!
