It seems no matter what party you support (or if you are disappointed by all..) this election is causing many people to experience increased stress. This is a good article and includes some tips and coping skills.

So true yet difficult to practice at times. This is actually a lesson my pup who is LIVING with cancer has taught me. We can learn a great deal from dogs and during times of crisis. Never miss an opportunity to learn a new insight <3

Thank you to everybody for all of the support of my new page and practice! I've been thinking about how to best utilize this page so if you have any ideas or needs please share. I will be starting two groups in the near future. The groups will be facilitated by myself and my friend and colleague, Dr. Rob Redondo. Groups will be held at his office in Pittsford. I will also be able to see families and individuals at this location in addition to the Gates office. One group will be an interpersonal/relationship skills group for young adults (20s) and the other will be a process group for mental health professionals.
