MTEC and the Bartlett Tree Experts partnered to provide community middle school students with an engaging environmental education workshop in honor of Arbor Day.

Initiatives such as MTEC's Tree Corps and TreesNY's Environmental Literacy Programs, among several others, are a strong response to this call-to-action.

MillionTreesNYC, an initiative by New York Restoration Project, aims to plant and care for one million new trees across the City's five boroughs over the next decade. Pratt Area Community Council and Magnolia Tree Earth Center of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Inc. will facilitate a tree giveaway on April 14, but there will be more at different locations throughout the city.
