A.G. CHANCELLOR III A.G. Chancellor III is the only son of A.G. Chancellor Jr. and Carol Chancellor. A.G. was raised in Wyandanch, New York. A.G. currently re...sides in Mastic Beach with his wife of over 20 years, Barbara. He has 2 sons, A.G. Chancellor IV and Armand Gabriel Chancellor. A.G. Chancellor IV is a Robertson Scholar at Duke University and is currently in his second year. As a Robertson Scholar, he received a full four year scholarship inclusive of room and board as well as a summer abroad and various opportunities for leadership growth. Armand Gabriel Chancellor is a sophomore at William Floyd High School with a 95 average receiving notices and emails almost daily from colleges across the country after scoring in the 91st percentile on the PSAT he took in October 2018. A.G. Chancellor III graduated from Stony Brook University in December 1992, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. His course of study included a major in History and a minor in Philosophy. Following graduation, he attended the University of Maryland School of Law. He received a partial scholarship from the university and was awarded an Earl Warren Scholarship from the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. In May 1996, A.G. graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree (JD). A.G. took the bar examination in July 1996 and was notified in November that he had passed the examination on his first attempt. In April 1997, he was admitted to the New York State Bar. In April 1999, he was admitted to the United States District Court, Eastern District. In December 2006, he was admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District. A.G. began his legal career as an Associate Attorney with the law firm of Siben & Siben in August 1997. In March 2001, he went to work as an Associate Attorney with Schaerf & Sealove in Manhattan, New York. In May 2001, he went to work as a trial attorney with Tromello, McDonnell & Kehoe, Staff Counsel for CNA Insurance Companies. He is currently a Senior Litigation Attorney with the Law Offices of Michael C. Tromello, Litigation Counsel for CNA Insurance Companies. A.G. was licensed to preach the Gospel on May 5, 2002. After being licensed and understanding study was important, he enrolled in the Guiding Light Bible Institute in September 2003. He was ordained by the Long Island Progressive Missionary Baptist Churches General Association in May 2004. On June 25, 2005, A.G. was installed as the 7th Pastor of the Mount Olive Baptist Church located on 200 Middle Island Rd., Medford, NY. He graduated from the Guiding Light Bible Institute in May 2006. A.G. has served on several boards and received several awards over his career. In 2016, he received the Committee Chair of the Year Award from the New York State Bar Association Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law (TICL) Section. A.G. served on the New York State Bar Association-TICL Executive Committee 2015-2016. In 2016, he served on the Diversity Committee for the DANY Diversity Initiative. In 2010, The Brookhaven Rosa Parks Democratic Association recognized A.G. for Outstanding Leadership by giving him an Agent of Change Award. On Jubilee Day in 2010, the Brookhaven NAACP gave A.G. an award in appreciation of dedicated service. In 2009, he was a speaker at the New York State Bar Association TICL Summer Meeting concerning Trial Techniques Primer. From 2009-2012, A.G. served as the Dean of the Sunday School & BTU Department of the Long Island Progressive Missionary Baptist Churches General Association. A.G. served as a Director of the Suffolk County Bar Association, 2002-2005. He served as a Trustee of the Cleary School for the Death, 2003-2005. He was Co-Chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Lawyers Committee on Alcohol & Drug Abuse, 2004-2005; also 1998-2000. Co-Chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Criminal Law Committee, 2000-2001. In 2001, A.G. received the Suffolk County Bar Association President’s Award. In 2000, he received the Suffolk County Bar Association Award of Recognition for Outstanding Service. In 1999, he received the Law Recognition Award of the Suffolk Coalition. See more

I attended services at Mt. Olive for the majority of my life! As I embark on a new chapter in my life I know in my heart that Mt.Olive will always be my church home! Go and check it out! You'll find love, empathy, respect and forgiveness and the teachings of the Word!! Go and enjoy yourself as I have for more than half a century!! Love you all Mt. Olive Family!!
