Great news for Dogs!! Bite This / All Natural Homemade Dog Treats are now available locally at Funky Flamingo Gulfport, Gulfport Beach Bazaar, Stella's Sundrie...s (in the form of cookies shaped like Nuns), Paw Paw's Pet Boutique of Gulfport and Paw Paws Pet Boutique in St. Johns Pass. If you'd like a sample, take your pup with you on your next trip to GulfPerk Coffee Bar for great coffee and an awesome menu or Tutto Bene Gulfport for excellent pizza and/or Italian food. The treats are made with 'people food' and we all know dogs love that! Also great news for Dogs is that Bite This / All Natural Homemade Dog Treats will be present at the Get Rescued Inc event on February 27th here on Beach Blvd in Gulfport organized by Suzanne King with special 'Get Rescued' treats free with a donation! Bite This / All Natural Homemade Dog Treats can also be purchased through LocalShops1.com or www.dogtreatsmadeinbrooklyn.com for those who need them shipped or delivered. And for my Brooklyn friends, Muddy Paws Holistic Pet Supplies & Dog Wash in Williamsburg also carries our treats.

As you may have heard, two cats in NY State have tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus. Although unwelcome news, there is at this time little cause for c...oncern: It is likely that the positive cats contracted COVID-19 from exposure to confirmed or suspected human COVID carriers. HOWEVER, it's clear that cats do NOT seem to suffer significant ill effects from the virus. While there have been millions of probable feline exposures worldwide, there has been NO documented uptick of serious feline illness. In other words, we would likely know by now if this was a significant threat to our beloved pet cats There is NO evidence at this time that cats can in turn transmit the virus to people, i.e., it seems to be a one-way street NONETHELESS, it is prudent for those with confirmed or suspected coronavirus infection to - as best as possible - to practice "social distancing" with their cats: avoid close contact, disallow contact with other cats or persons, don't share food, etc. Of course, this may not be realistic in a small NYC apartment, but where possible have a friend or neighbor take care of your cat. COVID-19 testing is now available from our veterinary labs, though: 1) testing requires approval from the Department of Agriculture and, 2) the results of any such tests would not likely change the course of the disease or treatment recommendations. As such, routine testing of pets is NOT currently recommended. We remain open to care for our patients with active medical issues. Just call and we'll do our best to help promptly. And of course call with any with any additional questions/concerns. Dr. Peter Soboroff Owner/Director, New York Cat Hospital
