The New York City Transit’s Canarsie Tunnel Rehabilitation project is the cover story in the current issue of DFI’s Deep Foundations magazine. The article, by MRCE’s Sitotaw Fantaye, Alice Arana, and Sean Butler, details the innovative designs the team implemented to complete a major rehabilitation of the main subway line between Brooklyn and Manhattan which was badly damaged by 2012’s Hurricane Sandy. https://www.nxtbook.com//DEEP-/march-april-2021/index.php #mrce110#mueserrutledge#NYCT #judlau #Giken #nicholsonconstruction

In October, the MRCE family lost one of the pillars of our firm, when former Senior Partner Elmer Richards passed away at the age of 90 years. We honor his memory with this tribute to his legacy to MRCE and to the field of geotechnical engineering.
