When you think of healthcare advertising, you probably don’t think about spending time on a shoot with modern stealth bombers and vintage warplanes. Was everyone standing in awe of the massively impressive aircrafts at our fingertips? Yes. Did we finally pull through and create a 60-second ad demonstrating that Winship at Emory is leading the pack in the development of the latest technologies and procedures to fight cancer? Also yes. Read our Creative Director's commentary on why the end of "Got Milk?" could spoil a perfectly good campaign: It wasn't that long ago when BMW agreed to a foolish strategy to drop 'The Ultimate Driving Machine' in favor of a new tag, 'Joy'. That was realized to be a huge mistake and was quickly reversed. This new idea departs from one of the all-time great brand ideas. 'Got Milk?' was created from the insight that the only time people actually thought about milk was when they... didn't have it. Absolutely brilliant! The creative executions were smart, relevant and actually made me want to drink milk, especially when accompanied by a chocolate cupcake. The downfall commenced when that campaign was dropped for the celebrity mustache campaign. While they kept the 'Got Milk?' tag, it had little relevance to this execution. 'Milk Life', oh, I get it. Very clever. NOT! Using milk as some crazy liquid energizer actually grosses me out. As I feel it will do to many. Time for a beer. -Peter Rabôt, Creative Director
