Murphy Crest Christmas Tree Farm

In a year full of unprecedented events, we at Murphy Crest are experiencing our own unexpected situation. So many people have been anxious to get into the holiday spirit early this year that we have reached our quota for the season after only two weekends. In order to preserve trees for future years, we simply have to stop selling at a certain point. We know this leaves some of our faithful customers in a bind, so we will be available by appointment Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week from 2:30 until 5. Please call 845-464-6931 to set that up. We will be open for the last day of the season on Friday, December 11 from 2 until 5. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and appreciate your understanding of the need to save trees for the years to come.

This is the tenth year in business for Murphy Crest. One of the great joys of the past ten years is seeing families come back year after year. I’ve seen couples come for their first tree, who now bring their children. I’ve seen little kids who were so anxious to get cocoa, turn into too cool for cocoa, and back again to cocoa drinkers. I’ve seen teenagers who used to come with their parents now bring their someone special. This is our youngest son, Liam, in one of the first years he helped on the farm and then today. Time sure flies! Thank you all for being a part of our first ten years! We look forward to more to come- especially to ones without masks!
