We are proud to announce that William Coon has successfully passed the Professional Engineer Licensing (PE) exam! William began his career with Murray Engineering in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, graduating with high honors, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from New York University (Cum Laude), both in 2010. His structural engineering experience varies from steel, concrete, and masonry design for variou...s commercial and residential clients, to modular design of structures for hospitality and residential buildings, as well as forensic investigation and evaluation of different building types. William has been an integral member of Murray's team and a valued team player. We also assisted with insuring the safe installation and support of Paul McCarthy's exhibition of 6 sculptures with a total weight of over 15 tons placed in non-symmetric...al locations. We analyzed the original building's 1919 steel framing, modeled the new loads, and ensured that not only would the final locations be safe but also the sequence and path of installation would not compromise building stability. . .
