We are heartbroken at the loss of our dear student Molly and her parents. Molly was a student at the Music Academy for over a decade, and we watched as she grew into an incredible musician and person. Molly's mom, Gail, became a friend to me and our staff, and championed for the Music Academy, always supporting our mission and keeping us connected to the community. We were so proud of Molly's accomplishments, and excited to see her pursuing her musical dreams in the fall at N...YU. We are very proud to introduce our newest instructor, Dana Fazio! This is extra special for us because Dana was a student at the Music Academy for many years, and one of our finest! Dana's Bio: Dana Fazio graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and she is currently working on her Master of Arts degree in Music Education at Hofstra University. She plays the guitar, piano, and clarinet. She has studied jazz guitar with Thomas Guarna and classical piano with Marilyn Lehman. She currently is teaching chorus and general music in the Oceanside School District, and excited to begin teaching at the Music Academy Foundation.
