Big News Everyone. Grab your seat, chair, whatever your sitting on. If your standing, get to something to hang on to, this is big. We’ll be resuming our regular meetings this month. Meetings start back up February 9th.... Same place they were before. VFW in Frankfort. 6pm. If you aren’t comfortably coming that is totally fine. If you are comfortable I’ll see ya there! If you’ve dreamt of joining the MV Firebirds, the time is now, come to that meeting and join up! Ok, back to your regular scheduled affairs now, thanks for your attention!

Happy New Year to all R/C folks out there. Let’s hope 2021 simmers down in regards to the virus and we can get back to regular meetings and more get togethers. 2021 is already shaping up to be a fun and exciting flying season. In the next couple months we’ll likely be finalizing dates for our yearly events and being sure we get them in the AMA magazine as well as other event calendars that are poking around the web and Facebook.... It is with great excitement that I announce that the MV Firebirds will be hosting the IMAC NorthEast Regional Finals this year! Communications have been taking place over the last few weeks between myself, RC HeliNoob (J Fitts), Dave Dupre, who is the Regional Coordinator for the NorthEast IMAC, and Daren Hudson who is an AMA VP who attended our Fall Jet Hangout this past September. The dates are set for September 17, 18, and 19. This works splendidly to piggyback with our Fall Jet Hangout the weekend after. As new details arise I or Jason will try our best to keep everyone up to speed through Facebook, E-Mails, texting and phone calls. We have been kicking the idea around of starting video chat style meetings while this pandemic is raging, because as you all know member input is very important to me. Details on that to come.
