This memorial was placed in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. The base and pedestal are polished gray granite and the statue was carved from the same color. Granite statues are recommended over marble as granite is a harder and more resilient material. The monument stands 6 feet tall.

This monument was installed August of 2014 in St. Agnes Cemetery, Utica. This was designed by Ben Morgan specifically to match the style of memorials in the old sections of the cemetery. The monument stands approximately 7-1/2 feet

A typical slant marker, also known as a slanted gravestone, slanting memorial marker, cemetery slant, mini headstone, etc., has a wide base that angles up (generally at 45 degrees) to a tapered top.

As the name suggests, an upright headstone is tall structure that has a ‘die’ or vertical stone at the top and a ‘base’ at the bottom.
