The people demand it! Open every day, with plans to carry on having the store open all winter for our friends and neighbors, passerbys and weekenders, locals and tourists alike. It has been so rewarding watching our little store grow and I'm looking forward to spending some more time in here once the harvest season is wrapped up!
First pick on Indigo and Bel Fiore radicchio. Find it at the @gbfarmersmrkt tomorrow!!
First pick on the fall carrots, going to the CSA this week!! Lucky lucky
"Have we sold any?" "Who cares?!" Pumpkin season perfectly summarized by @geckogirl95 and @silberbotanica Anyway come buy some, or email us for some wholesale prices on some warty gourds, jack-o'-lanterns, or heirloom pumpkins

The next 6 weeks are "high season" for us. Not manic like June or July, but busy like you wouldn't believe. Not only is this is when we pull in about 50% of our crop income...but we're racing against shortening daylight, physical and mental depletion, and frost. But it's also a wonderful time of year, and we're so lucky with this stretch of warm dry weather to get our winter squash picked up at peak quality. Everything looks great, and I think we're all looking forward to some satisfying bulk harvests
See you Tuesday people!
The weather is a bit doom and gloom but this field is happy and rich! 3.5 acres of fall brassica beauty
Hello September
Napa Cabbage coming in big, beautiful, and delicious. But it's also distracting us from the winter squash harvest which has my hips and hamstrings feeling like I'm about 80 years old. Give or take. Will let you know when I'm 80 if that's accurate.
Today it was broccoli leaf, napa cabbage, green tomatoes, delicata, and the last of the summer carrots. An afternoon rainstorm is keeping us inside packing CSA boxes and the season is finally shifting. So go make some green tomato salsa while we still have that summer heat left or pickle them to enjoy all winter long!
