There is a stigma in medicine (and in society in general), & this false notion that physicians are supposed to be superhuman & not suffer from the same diseases as our patients." Changing medical culture around mental health does not just help healthcare professionals, it helps everyone. Ending the stigma in healthcare might help end it more broadly, especially in how health care is practiced.
