Update: all schools in all regions qualify for reopening per Cuomo. Districts will be notified if their plans don’t meet health and safety requirements. Stay t...uned here for more info as the call progresses. More info: schools must: 1. Have at least three parent meetings on reopening (the big five must have five) before 8/21, and at least one teacher meeting 2. Post on their website the schools remote learning plan in case they need to go remote 3. Post on their website the contract tracing plan and closure plan (in case of a positive case) 4. Post on their website the testing plan, ie where they will send kids or educators to be tested if they have symptoms 5. 50 districts have submitted incomplete plans, they will be contacted to fix 6. Approx 130 districts have yet to submit a plan, they will be contacted to submit ASAP More info will be shared as we receive it.
