Note from Athletics/Phil Carbone Physicals: The school doctor will be in the high school nurse's office on Thursday June 17 from 12 to 1pm for a check up that will clear athletes for athletics next year. Any high school student currently in grades 9-11 can sign up prior to Thursday with Mrs. Hanigan at her office or email [email protected]. The doctor will be in the middle school beginning at 1:30pm to conduct their sports physicals. Please contact the middle school nurse at [email protected] to sign your child up for grades 6-8.

Our neighboring towns and states have safely opened up high school sports and Nanuet is prepared to do the same. TODAY (1/15) has been designated Nanuet's day of advocacy. We are asking parents, athletes, and community members of Nanuet to please join in by contacting local state officials, asking them to advocate on our behalf to NYS and Governor. Our website has all the contact the information you need with letter templates and telephone scripts, but TIMING is extremely important! The idea is to get these letters in by January 22nd in MASSES. Coach Tony Toronto is a county legend for sure! After 43 years and 456 wins coaching softball, he has decided to retire. We would like to thank Coach Toronto for the 12 years he devoted to our Golden Knights softball program. We proudly recall that he was with Nanuet when reached his 400th all-time win in 2015 (photos below). Coach Toronto has been loved and respected by so many players, coaches and others in the softball community throughout the years. Message from Phil Carbone and Athletics to our modified sport athletes/families, regarding winter season: At this time the only modified sport that will be allowed to begin on January 19th is Winter Track, however there will be no competitions, no indoor venue, and practices will be limited to outdoors only. We are assessing our options at this time to make a decision based on the information explained and will share that with you towards the end of next week.

Wishing our track team lots of luck today, as they have a meet against Suffern. We are so excited to pass this link on to you so you can cheer on our Golden Knight athletes!
