Nassau Community Band

Hello All Hope everyone is well. As I’ve mentioned before, views on this page continue to come. Pretty interesting since there hasn’t been any action lately. Which is why I’m commenting It’s been just about one year since we last were together planning for the summer of 2020. We all know how that story ended. To bring everyone up to date the future looks a little brighter now, but we are still not over the hump. I spoke with the Strawberry Festival people and indicated we... would not be in a position to perform in June. The Church is considering take out only, so live musicians may be counter productive to their effort to keep people moving. Obviously concerts at senior centers seem unlikely so those dates probably are not taking place. Which leaves us in a position we’ve become used to sit and wait. I have heard from some musicians who are taking the opportunity to step away from the group and others who are anxious to return when possible. I don’t know the answer. Hi Everyone! Hello to 2021. It has to get better - right? I've been doing a little decluttering and found some old band pictures. One of my many "projects" is to try and organize them into some meaningful way, but until then here are a few. I'll try and add comments in captions.
