It was an honor to join the Garden City Park Fire Department for Memorial Day to honor our brave fallen soldiers at a memorial held outside their headquarters. We were joined by many members of the community including both the VFW Post 120 and the Garden City Park Civic Association.

Today we remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our great nation and our freedoms. God bless the selfless and courageous members of our armed forces. God bless America!

It is National Police Week. Let's thank our brave police officers for keeping our streets safe here in Nassau County. Thanks to their hard work and dedication we’ve been named the safest county in America by US News & World Report!
