Every December, DA Singas hosts a meeting of all her Advisory Councils. This year the meeting was virtual. She thanked all the members for their leadership in our communities and their role as advisors to the NCDA. The Advisory Councils create paths of communication, direct access and collaboration between our communities and the District Attorney. #advisorycouncil #districtattorney

Larry Byrne was a friend to the entire law enforcement community. He was a great legal mind, who dedicated his life’s work to preserving the memory of his brother NYPD Officer Eddie Byrne who was murdered by a gang of drug dealers in 1988. Larry continued his family tradition of public service by working as a federal prosecutor and later as deputy commissioner for legal affairs at the New York Police Department.
