Nassau County Traffic Management

Daily Road Work 1) N Corona Avenue between Dutch Broadway and Merrick Road (Valley Stream). One NB lane will be blocked from 9AM until 4PM. 2) Old Country Road between Central Park Road and Kalda Lane (Plainview). One WB lane will be blocked from 9AM until 4PM.

Fire Department Activity: Cherry Lane and Atlantic Avenue (Carle Place). Use caution in the area.

Overnight Road Work: 1) Northern State Parkway between exit 24(Little Neck Parkway) to exit 31 (Glen Cove Road). Two EB lanes are blocked until 6AM. 2) Sunrise Highway between Great Neck Road and NY-110. Two EB lanes are blocked until 2AM. 3) Ocean Parkway between Field 6 and Gilgo Beach. Two EB lanes are blocked until 6AM. 4) Merrick Avenue between Old Country Road and Hempstead Turnpike. Two lanes are blocked until 5AM.

Auto Accident: Hicksville Road SB at Wantagh Ave (Bethpage). The SB lane is blocked, use caution in the area.

Auto Accident: Northern State Parkway EB at exit 30 (I.U. Willets). One lane is blocked, use caution in the area.

Auto Accident: Southern State Parkway EB between exits 21 (Nassau Rd.) and 22 (MSP). The center lane is blocked, use caution in the area.

Auto Accident: Southern State Parkway EB near exit 28A (NY135). Use caution in the area.

Disabled Vehicle: Southern State Parkway WB at exit 13 (Central Avenue). The left lane is blocked. Expect delays in the area.

Fire Department Activity: NY-135 NB between exit 9 (Plainview Road) and exit 10 (Old Country Road). Use caution in the area.

Road Work: This is part of the Western Nassau Transmission Project. Traffic management signs are placed to advise motorists. For more information visit www.westernnassautranmission.com. Single lane closures are expected for these projects. This is continuous work scheduled to be completed in about one week. 1) Whitehall Street at Whittier Street (Lynbrook). 2) Hendrickson Avenue and Whitehall Street (Lynbrook).

Road Closure: School Street between Railroad Avenue and Union Avenue (Westbury) in both directions. This is continuous from Monday May 18th, 2020 12:00 AM thru Monday November 30th, 2020 11:59 PM. All lanes are blocked and detoured. Use an alternate route.

Two lanes will be blocked from 8AM until 4PM. 2) N Corona Avenue between Dutch Broadway and Merrick Road (Valley Stream). One NB lane will be blocked from 9AM until 4PM. 3) Merrick Avenue between Hempstead Turnpike and Old Country Road (East Meadow/Garden City). Two lanes will be blocked overnight from 9PM until 5AM. 4) Greenwich Street at Jerusalem Avenue (Village of Hempstead). One NB lane will be blocked from 9AM until 4PM.

Auto Accident: I-495 WB at exit 41 (NY-106,NY-107). All lanes are blocked. Expect delays.
