What do judges look for in an Irish dancing champion? The formal criteria are timing, appearance, execution and carriage, says Kerry Kelly Oster, from Putnam, N.Y. In the Solo Competitions dancers will dance 32 bars of each dance (excepting the Traditional Set). The dancers will be in a line on stage and they will come forward two at a time to dance their steps. There will be no break in the music between each two dancers. There's nothing quite like watching natural dance...rs and David Pyke & Holly Duffy are two of the most natural out there! Between them they have won everything from World Championships to All Ireland's and everything in between but it's their ridiculously smooth natural style and incredible footwork that stands out the most!!
