Tonight's the big night! The supermoon total lunar eclipse. (For those in the western US, Australia, western South America or southeast Asia, anyway). Four tips: 1. Use PhotoPills to figure out where the moon will be, and plan accordingly. 2. In the darker phase, use an exposure that shows the red moon but also allows for star points. Probably in the 5- to 20-second range, depending on the lens.... 3. Put something in the foreground. 4. Read our blog post from 2019: npan.co/bglunar
