Our fifth grade students have been learning about the structure of the US government. Their teacher, Ms. DiFabio, taught the students how to inaugurate their first President, Gabriella, and Vice President, Seamos. Their Chief Justice, Tsion, lead the inauguration. They passed the Water Ball Warrior and the Ice Cream for Paragraphs Bills into law in their first day of Congress! Their President, Gabriella, allocated root beer floats for all three branches of government through an executive order.
We had a visit from the Kiwanis Club of Rochester yesterday... Thank you for your support of our school!
Check out this interview with President James C. Smith and Hidden Heart Wreaths Owner, Beth Patterson from their promotion Good Day Rochester this morning. We are so grateful for Beth and her support to Nativity! https://foxrochester.com///custom-wreaths-for-a-good-cause

As we celebrate the Season of Advent, Nativity is highlighting beautiful renditions of the Nativity scene from around the world! Thank you to Ms. Kremer’s daughter for designing this board for us to enjoy throughout the holiday season!
We’re jumping for joy to be back in person learning and playing together! After one week of distance learning and universal covid testing for students and staff due to Monroe County’s Orange Zone designation, Nativity is back to full time in-person instruction!
Hidden Heart Wreaths support Nativity Preparatory Academy! The proceeds from each wreath will be donated to the school's Annual Fund to support a high quality education for our middle school students! This wreath was donated to the school and now hangs in our lobby for the students to see each day. Visit www.hiddenheartwreaths.com to learn more.
On Friday, Nativity’s 5th Grade Class of Bakhita performed a short play titled A Mayan Myth, combining their social studies, English, and science studies while practicing their public speaking skills! Students did a tremendous job researching, practicing, and performing this show, and held an engaging discussion with audience members on the play’s meaning afterwards! Great work, 5th graders!
It was a jam packed week at Nativity with interim report cards, NWEA MAP Testing, visits from alumni, a McQuaid service project, an Aquinas virtual admissions meeting, our President’s Reception, a Farm to Family food distribution, lots of virtual tutoring, and the start of virtual STEM Club! Our students and alumni are off to a great start this year, and our ability to provide in person learning with extensive support is only possible through the incredible community partnerships we have with individuals and programs. We are so grateful to once again have a busy building full of learning and fun!

Our Nativity community is so blessed to have incredible partners in mission! The @bgcrochesterny was generous enough to share their bountiful donations from @walmart with us this week, helping us to provide supplies and much-needed resources for all of our students!

Today Nativity was grateful to be a site for the @mcqjesuitministry Freshman Day of Service! 20 freshmen, including two Nativity alumni, helped to do a full fall cleanup of our yard, getting us set for continued outdoor phys. Ed and ready for winter! We are so blessed by our continued partnership with @mcqjesuitministry!
We look forward to sharing stories with you this Thursday on Facebook live!
