All members of the village of Natural Bridge ..... We are asking that you have patience with our Fire Department on May 22,2021 . You may notice a large presence of fire trucks and apparatus due to a fallen fire fighter memorial service being held that day ! The Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Company would like to express our deepest sympathies to the family of deceased Firefighter James Potter ! James was a member of our department for 27 years ! He will be dearly missed . Rest Easy Jimbo . We will take the watch from here

We would like to remind all of you that there is currently a State Wide burn ban . We realize that the weather is becoming very nice and we are ALL tired of being cooped up inside , however , the grass and surrounding woods are very dry and fire will spread RAPIDLY! Please do not burn ! Remember that during a burn ban , if the fire department gets called to a residence, it may result in the DEC also being called and a fine being issued to illegal burners . It’s best to just wait before burning. Thank You for your understanding and as always , stay safe

Everyone at Rusty Johnson Masonry is mourning the loss of a wonderful employee, co-worker and friend. We will forever hold onto the memories and great times we all had together. Your Rusty Johnson Masonry family love you Peyt.

Santa has arrived at the station

Santa will be in Natural Bridge this evening . Anyone wishing to see Santa and wave to him is being asked to be on Main Street at 6pm . Santa will be escorted by the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Company in their fire truck . We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas .

At 00:30 Harrisville Fire and Rescue along with Natural Bridge Rescue were activated by Lewis County Dispatchers for a reported one car MVA roll over with inj...uries. Engine-2 with Chief-2 arrived on scene and stated that there was three people in the vehicle at the time of the crash and all were out of the vehicle with one injury. Natural Bridge Ambulance transported one. New York State police, Carthage Rescue and Furneys towing were also on scene. Harrisville was back in service at 02:00.

We would again like to thank Natural Bridge Fire Department for their hospitality and assistance during a search detail earlier this week. It's times like this that illustrate how critical it is for all first responders and their communities to work together in times of need.

Your generosity is truly appreciated!

The Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Company is asking for the community to please refrain from burning until the area gets some much needed rain . We realize that with everyone being stuck at home with not much to do , you all want to have a bonfire with friends . We are right there with you . However , the area is super dry right now and even a small fire can quickly become out of control ! Its best to refrain from burning for now . Stay safe out there !
