Today was Spring at its finest. ::::DAY TWO:::: Started with Snow! The @tinkergarten calendar called for dying eggs, but we are saving that for when Dada is home, so we tried the next best thing - we did a fun craft creating 3-D construction paper Easter Eggs Then when the weather peaked we pulled on our #warmanddries from the day before and headed out for our 30 minutes to gather sticks. After a meander we came back to hang our creations from our bundle in a vase #outdoors4all #getemoutside #natureplay #outdoorsindoors #naturecraft #outinallweather

Summer may be *officially* over but the need for #spfdaily knows no season! we are going for a week long #getemoutside trip to Fire Island and that means packing alllllll the @supergoop for some Sand & Sun #natureplay

#BakingWithKids I realize is the stuff of nightmares for a lot of people but it provides great #sensoryplay and exploration opportunities for little hands & minds. And while math & science lessons can easily be worked in to any cooking project, I love to use it as another chance to involve nature. What do the change in seasons mean for the food we make and eat? How do changes in nature result in changes in our home?
