Dear friends, We hope you have remained healthy and safe over the past few difficult months. These have been trying times, in many ways, and while this will likely continue for some time, we have been planning and preparing to safely and responsibly welcome you back. There’s a great deal of physical, emotional, and social healing that will be needed over the coming months and years, and we’re hoping we can at least be a small part of it in our own way. As you know, salons a...nd barbershops are in the second phase of business openings in New York, and in Western New York that phase could start as early as this week! When this phase begins, we are ready to go. While we have always adhered to the strictest standards of cleanliness, we are instituting numerous changes, both mandated and voluntary, to keep you and our staff as safe as possible. Below are listed many of the changes you’ll be seeing, but please be patient while we continue to implement and improve these new processes. Stylists have been without income for months, and the business has changed dramatically in a very short time. There will be a learning curve. You have a role to play in our collective health as well, and what we will ask of you is also listed. Here are some of the changes the salon has made: Operating at half capacity to limit occupancy No double booking to promote social distancing Appointments only, no walk ins Styling, cutting, and coloring services only Extensive cleaning of stations between each client Disinfection of all tools, containers, and equipment COVID-19 testing of all stylists every 14 days Face coverings for stylists Hand washing between all services Daily health checks for stylists Temporary elimination of common areas, coffee, and magazines Certification of stylists in Barbicide and Milady sanitation and disinfection courses Here’s what we need you to do: Contact your stylist for an appointment Text or call when you arrive and wait for the stylist to let you in Don't bring others in with you Wear a face covering Bring in only what is necessary (keys, wallet, phone) Maintain a distance of 6’ from other stylists and clients Wash your hands when you enter Keep conversation to a minimum Most important, if you are sick, STAY HOME!!!! We promise we’ll get you back in! We can’t wait to have you back, and even though we won’t give you a hug, please know you’ve been missed. Only together do we get through this!!
