A great exercise to find the center, work on adagio, and turns. Also look at those beautiful back muscles!!! Dancers have such beautiful articulation of their back muscles, all from working on holding the arms during port de bras.

Schedule change this evening due to snow. 5:30pm SD ballet moved to 4:30pm and via zoom (email if you did not receive the link). Pre-Pointe CANCELLED

I just tried to go to my chiropractors and turned around as soon as I made it to the main road. Roads are slippery and Im sure as it gets colder this evening the conditions will worsen. I would like to move SD to remote via zoom. Would everyone be okay if we moved class earlier since it is on zoom. I'm proposing 4:30pm-6:00pm (class may be a bit shorter being space to move is limited at home). If that does not work for everyone we will stick with the original class time. I will send a zoom link later this afternoon. Pre-Pointe is CANCELLED.

After receiving some feedback and some shoveling I have come to the decision that NYAB will be CLOSED this evening. It is more than likely going to take me the entire day to shovel and road conditions are predicted to be unsafe this evening. I hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Please feel free to take make-up classes at your leisure, if you are unsure of what classes you may take please write back. I will also try to do a week of make-ups at the end of the school year. I am so sorry to do this last minute but I have decided to CANCEL classes this evening. The majority are not able to make it in tonight and I turned my car around not too far from my house as the roads going into the studio are not great and my car was slipping. Please stay safe and warm.

Since a few from the SD modern cannot make it in this evening. SD modern is canceled, if you are in SD modern and are able to make it in you may take the AD modern at 6:30pm.

I know a few people are still snowed in and I've seen a few local businesses and gyms close for the day. I have not been out yet so I do not know road conditions but I am plowed out and can make it to the studio. Please let me know if you are able to come to classes this evening.
