Isaiah 54:17a is a very well known scripture but 17b states that it is a Heritage! To whom? To those that serve the Lord. The servants of the Lord. This is the... heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Heritage is often used to discuss a cultural aspect or tradition that has been passed down through generations. Jesus came through 42 generations for us to inherit this heritage. This Heritage keeps a song in my heart and a dance in my feet. You may be saying, Wow, I want that heritage, or I want to dance like David danced. And, you can if you have never asked Jesus into your heart, now is the time to do so to claim your heritage: Dear Father in Heaven, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe your son Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite the Lord Jesus to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow Jesus as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name.

The Spirit’s clarion cry through Habakkuk is for God’s people to live by faith. Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked; but t...he righteous will live by their faith Hab. 2:4. People will not be saved by works or birth but by faith through the grace of God. The Spirit also gave Habakkuk a vision of God’s holiness in worship; But the Lord in His Holy Temple. Let all the earth be silent before Him Hab. 2:20. Trusting God’s Spirit for everything and for direction in every area of life is the only way to live. If you don’t know the Lord in the pardon of your sins, please repeat this prayer to join the family of God. Dear Father in Heaven, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. To NYLCC Africa - Administration, Faculty and Students: I bless God for you all. I did receive word that the students are awaiting for my arrival. As my husban...d and I listened to our NYC Mayor go through the casses of those with Coronavirus, and most came though traveling, my family became very concerned about my saftey. While I am not afraid to travel, my family concerns are also my concerns. We will see how the virus moves throughout the country - I may dip in and out before anyone even know I am there. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that can cause illness which can range from mild (such as a cold) to more serious (such as pneumonia). The virus is likely to be spread from person to person, but it is currently unclear exactly how easily it spreads. A "novel coronavirus" is a strain that has not previously been found in humans. SYMPTOMS Symptoms related to COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia and other complications, especially in infants, older individuals, and in those with underlying health conditions. PREVENTION While there is still much that is unknown about this virus, we know what we can do to reduce our risk for infection: Wash your hands often, especially after you’ve touched someone who is sick, using soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands. If you have cold and cough symptoms, make sure to cover your coughs and sneezes by using the crook of your arm or using disposable tissues and disposing of them in the trash. The new semester is here. I have to admit, I got caught up in the break. Monday, February 3rd classes resume. Teachers Training I - is not a semester class but ...we opened it - for a few students who are in need of it. If you have the prerequisites you are welcome to join them. @‘New York Lighthouse Online we are usually closed the entire month of January for winter break. This year we will have one undergrad course open thru the winte...r break to help those who are in need of a few credits to graduate and for those who just want to study the Book of Romans. I specifically chose this Book because of its significance, main idea and purpose. If you are a current student there is no fee and you will receive 3 credits.
