During the summer we be playing outside in Clifton Springs Fridays and Sundays 5pm-8pm at the newly renovated tennis courts near the library. There are 4 dedicated pickleball courts to give plenty of play time for all. Inclement weather (Friday and Sunday only) we will play indoors at the Newark Tymeson building on E Maple Ave.

Pickleball is still alive and well in Newark! When the weather is great, we play outdoors at the Frey St complex behind Lincoln School, if inclement weather we play at the Tymeson Gym on East Maple Ave every Friday and Sunday 5pm - 8pm

Date: Sunday February 21, 2016 Time: 5:00 PM until 6:15 PM - Beginner Skills... 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM - Intermediate and Advanced Skills / Strategies Location: Tymeson Gymnasium on the Newark DDSO Campus East Maple Avenue (at the top of the hill on the north side) Equipment: We have twelve wood paddles if you are unable to bring your own. Balls and nets provided. Court shoes or dry sneakers, please. Locker rooms available. Parking: Off-street parking is available in front of the gym. Our clinician is Mr. George Fairfax of Geneva, NY. George has been an avid pickleballer for eight years. He is a frequent tournament player and has earned silver medals in two national tournaments and medalled in many others. Not only is George a USA Pickleball Association Ambassador to the Finger Lakes North Region in New York, he brought the sport to his home town of Geneva and directs a fund-raising tournament there which benefits the Boys and Girls Club. George is gifted with a calm disposition when teaching beginner skills and the knowledge to help more advanced players take steps to improve their games. All participants will benefit from the methods he uses to share his love of the sport of Pickleball. Newark Pickleball ROCKS! There is no cost to participate in the clinic.
