Shared on behalf of the Village of New Berlin: Halloween Saturday, October 31 4:30-7:00 pm... Suggestions for Trick or Treating and giving out candy during the COVID19 Pandemic: Trick or Treaters: Wear face coverings. Practice social distancing. Bring and use hand sanitizer. Trick or treat in a small, unvarying group and stick together. Avoid touching multiple pieces of candy in a bowl, take a piece on top. Avoid sharing props, toys, and costume pieces. Some sources recommend quarantining candy over disinfecting candy Households: Wear face coverings. Practice social distancing. Use hand sanitizer. Leave a goodie bags or a bowl of candy in your yard or at the end of your driveway, and wave at trick-or-treaters from your front door. Disinfect doorknobs, bells, buzzers, and handrails after trick or treating is finished.
