To reduce the effect of the disease and to prevention the transmission of the infection here are a few things you can do: 1. Wash hands frequently with soap and warm water 2. Avoid putting your hands in your face 3. Do not use the towel of anyone infected with the illness 4. Avoid using the same eyedrops as someone who is infected. 5. Clean eyeglasses and cases that you used while infected 6. Clean extended wear lenses as directed 7. Throw away and replace any eye or face makeup you used while infected. 8. Throw away contact lens solutions that you used while your eyes were infected. 9. Throw away disposable contact lenses and cases that you used while your eyes were infected. 10.
