I am saddened to announce the sudden and peaceful passing of our beloved Spartacus. I am, simultaneously, profoundly grateful for every moment of the 13 years a...nd 2 days of loving wonders and teaching moments he brought to our lives. He was and is my spirit animal, a gifted guide who joined me in my darkest days to lead me on a journey to my highest potential for health, happiness and wellbeing. I can only hope I reciprocated his gifts to me in full. He is the most excellent example of a giving soul who despite his own struggles in his early years, brought out the best in the people and dogs he met. He passed quietly in the evening, 2 days after his birthday. The well wishes for his birthday continue to come from all around the world, even after his passing. We are so grateful for the love. He will always be a lasting tribute to the generosity and skills of all the friends, family, trainers, doctors, and mentors we have been honored to work with as a family and pack these past 7 years. My former owner brought me to a wonderful dog trainer who decided I would never be a good farm protection dog. The trainer gave me to Valerie. We are all so grateful to Phyllis.
