Well-sad to say there will not be a Sister Tozzi Tournament this year We all have our favorite charities. Karen’s is Alzheimers, Debbies is Breast Cancer, and for 28 years- Larrys has been my sister the sister Tozzi Tournament. Larry has donated a Cleveland bag ( $149 value). Raffles are $10. He has also donated Bridgestone gloves. Make a $25 donation and get a glove. All proceeds go to the San Damian Orphanage in Quito Ecuador and Sister Mary Tozzi. Hi everybody! I would like to take this opportunity to announce, after much thought and consideration, that I will be retiring from the New Paltz Golf Course. I... have worked here for 40 years- and I believe this is the right time. Let me start by thanking my wife Karen for all her love, help and support. As you know, in many ways, Karen is the back bone and strength of this great operation. I would also like to thank all the wonderful players who have walked these fairways and supported me over the years. Each one of you have, and will always have, a special place in my heart. Success doesn’t come without good workers. I am so thankful to everyone who has worked for me and with me over the years. Special thanks to Debbie and Carl, as well as PGA Assistants John Loughlin, Brian Forte and Michael Decker. There have been so many over the past 40 years, I couldn’t begin to thank ( or remember!) them all. I would be remiss in not thanking Gordon Kreth and John Magaletta for getting me started in this business and believing in me in 1979. Making this transition into retirement has been a lot easier thanks to Tom Gilmore. Tom. As you know, purchased the property in 2017. I am so grateful he saw the value and spirit of all the wonderful people and staff- and mostly this beautiful piece of property. Tom O Brien will be taking over the operation of the golf course- I hope you will support him along the way. 2020 Has been a challenge for all of us, but I am sure by the grace of God, things will improve. I hope to be playing a little more golf and spend more time with all of you who have become dear friends over the years. To quote a great song- Fare you well, fare you well, I love you more than words can tell You have all rocked my soul and from the bottom of my heart, I THANK YOU!

We’d like to congratulate the Class of 2020. Especially our own Julian! If you see him at the course- be sure to give him a- well- no handshake or hug- but a kind word! Many of the class of 2020 were born during the 9/11 era, and now have this pandemic. They’ve earned our kudos! Well done Julian- you’re a wonderful young man with a great future!
