Prayers The RCNP church family has a wonderful group of people regularly praying for the needs and concerns that are brought to them. If you have something you would like our prayer team to pray about, please send it to [email protected].
Missions and Outreach Picnic in a Basket Coming soon - collections for our annual Picnic in a Basket project will begin next week.
Missions and Outreach June/July Picnic Project The Mission and Outreach Committee is beginning our annual drive.... Since Covid Protocols have changed, there will still be some modifications with the collection. We are able to go back to using baskets. Food will be collected at church on Sundays and can be placed in a container provided on the porch of the church. In addition to collection on Sundays we will be holding two food drop offs. One will be Sat morning from 9-12 on June 5th and the second one will be Wednesday, June 16th from 5-7. The last day for collection is Sunday, June 27th at the end of church. Below is a list of suggested items for the baskets. Please follow whatever restrictions are current. If you would like to support this annual project but would prefer not shopping in a store, you can support it in two other ways: Mail a check made out to the RCNP with Picnic Project on the memo line to 92 Huguenot St. Go to church e-giving on this email blast. Under Missions projects make your donation and list Picnic Project. In addition to the food items listed below we could also use small gift cards ($25) to local grocery stores to purchase perishable food items. Suggested items: Canned tuna fish, canned chicken, pasta salad (boxes), small mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, napkins, plates, juice boxes, drink mix, cake mix/icing, brownie mix, (any dessert), pickles, olives, peanut butter, jelly ,baked beans, pancake mix, syrup, individual size cereal boxes, paper plates, napkins, and plastic tablecloths. Something special for 4th of July would also be great. Your continued support of our church’s projects is greatly appreciated. The Mission and Outreach Committee

Caring for Creation (C4C) Earth Day Unbound This year's Earth Day Fair, "Earth Day Unbound," featured the flags of all the nations flying on Huguenot Street with attached rankings of their carbon footprints. There was signage on the rail trail with environmental factoids and tips, stretching from Broadhead to Mulberry Streets.... . Covid cautiousness led us to substitute our live events with pre-recorded Earth Day Fair features, including the Earth Day Prayer Circle, musical presentations, and links to participants that typically would be tabling in person. If you missed any of it, you can now check it all out at your convenience. Go to: https://bit.ly/3eieabR Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the Earth Day Fair and 20 years of Caring for Creation at the Reformed Church. We are looking forward to a grand celebration!
