The District's 2021-2022 calendar has been set. It was adopted by the Board of Education last night. Calendars are found under the "Community" drop-down menu on the District homepage, nred.org.

TODAY: Lower Hudson Valley MBK Alliance Sponsors Virtual Youth Summit on 12/16, 4 pm to 6 pm For the past two years, the Lower Hudson Valley MBK Alliance has sp...onsored a Youth Summit at the Westchester County Center. Approximately 800 young men of color attended these in-person gatherings each year and heard from nationally known speakers. Participants came from high schools and middle schools throughout the Lower Hudson Valley and represented MBK chapters in Yonkers, White Plains, Greenburgh, Ossining, Peekskill and other locations. Dozens of New Rochelle High School male students of color attended both previous Youth Summits and really enjoyed the experience. This year's keynote speaker is the great New York Knicks player Allan Houston, who is now the Assistant General Manager of the team. There will also be breakout discussions on Civic Education, Mental Health & Wellness, and Community Engagement and Responsibility. Please encourage young men of color in grades 6 through 12 to attend. Teachers, administrators and adults who work with MBK youth are also invited to attend this free event. Thank you!
