Stop Racial Discrimination -- especially violence against Asians! My wife Lucia and I are concerned by all of the current conflicts around the world: the expansion of the military, the spread of the epidemic, the loss of the economy, the unevenness of the rich and the poor, the racial discrimination, and now especially -- the violence against our Asian community!... For more than half a century, I have used my Art to express this humanistic concern and a vision for global peace. I leave you with my artwork, "Five Races in Harmony," expressing my vision of the integration of humankind and East-West resolution. In this work, I transformed Matisse’s "Dancers" to be in five colors representing the five races of humanity. The Red Buddha sits on a multicolored pedestal which plays the harmonic melody with the circle of dancers, and the circle of fire and light behind the Buddha’s head. A picture is worth a thousand words. I hope that my art can be used to help promote a "Global Culture of Love, Tolerance, and Peace through Art." Please see more of my work at www.tfchen.com.
