The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Fall Rush today!
A big thank you to all who came to our annual dodgeball philanthropy yesterday at the Women's Building which helped support the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors! Congratulations to the sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta for winning the sorority tournament and to the brothers of Phi Delta Theta for winning the fraternity tournament. We hope all had fun while supporting a good cause! All donations are still welcome at this link: https://www.youcaring.com/tapstragedyassistanceprogramforsu
This Saturday, April 15th, the brothers will be hosting their annual dodgeball tournament at the SU Women's Building. All proceeds will benefit the TAPS organization Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. Since 1994, TAPS has been providing care and support to individuals grieving the death of anyone who has died while serving in the military. More information can be found TAPS here - http://www.taps.org//RESOU/Documents/TAPS_Backgrounder.pdf If you would like to make a donation to the cause, you can at this link: https://www.youcaring.com/tapstragedyassistanceprogramforsu All contributions are welcome!

On this day in 1901 at Richmond College, 12 men set out to create a brotherhood based on three principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. These principles are achieved throughout each chapter to this very day. November 1st is Sigma Phi Epsilon's Founders Day. In a span of 115 years, Sigma Phi Epsilon has become one of the largest fraternities in the country. The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon New York Alpha at Syracuse University commemorate the effort put forth by our founding fathers: Carter Ashton Jenkens, Benjamin Donald Gaw, William Hugh Carter, William Andrew Wallace, Thomas Temple Wright, William Lazell Phillips, Lucian Baum Cox, Richard Spurgeon Owens, Edgar Lee Allen, Robert Alfred McFarland, Franklin Webb Kerfoot, and Thomas Vaden McCaul. #DGDP #VDBL #HFF
