On April 24, 2015 we had a Grand Opening at the New York BizLab, a business accelerator crated by Transfinder CEO Antonio Civitella and led by Managing Director Richard D'Errico. It was a cold day (yes, a few flurries!) but people braved the cold to celebrate with us! So many milestones since this day, with the launch of the BizHub, made up of amazing experts in such fields as accounting, law (including patent law), human resources, recruiting, insurance, sales, public relat...ions, CFO-related areas and more. And the creation of the VirtualFund, made up of high-profile business leaders who are looking for the "next big thing" to invest in. There's the BizLab eXpert Series that featured our BizHub experts among others to share best practices on topic such as how to conduct due diligence and how to resolve workplace conflict. And of course there's the BizLab - Clarkson University Lunchtime Entrepreneurship Series featuring the region's top entrepreneurs who shared their stories and hard lessons learned. We have had some amazing "graduations," those BizLab companies that grew and left for bigger space or were acquired. Many companies have received investments, mentors and made hires as a result of the BizLab and we know the impact will only grow. We are looking to restart the BizLab-Clarksonn lunches.
