Unfortunately due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases the Serve & Connect program has been postponed to next season. Special thank you to NYPD 42nd Precinct for volunteering its time and making this program possible. We look forward to collaborating in the future!
Our Aces program has done a fantastic job keeping our kid's learning environment safe, fun and active. Our goal is to always see our kids progress grow in order for them to strive for success. #NYJTL #ACES

It's Tennis Tuesday everyone!! In this video, Coach Danny is having the kids do the ball tossing drill in order to improve hand and eye coordination . It's important to learn these skills in the early stages of tennis, so we can accurately start hitting the ball with the racquet. We hope you all enjoy the holiday break and we can't wait to see you all next year !!
Happy Tennis Friday Everyone ! Our staff and coaches are excited to see you all this weekend before the Christmas Break! (Our wonderful staff from our Roosevelt Island Site are being represented here). #NYJTL #Freecommunitytennis #winterbreak
Happy Tennis Tuesday Everyone Footwork is a key skill to work on in order to improve your game. This drill enhances lateral movement and quick movement on the feet, as well as a great warmup. The more you practice the lighter you'll feel on your feet. This drill can even be done at home! This video was taken from our Bay Terrance Site in Queens! We can't wait to see you all this weekend to help you improve your game, but most of all to have fun! #NYJTL #Communityfreetennis #Drills

NYJTL would like to express our deepest condolences to NYJTL Board Member, Mayor Dinkins, on the passing of his wife, Joyce Dinkins, First Lady of New York City. The former First Lady, was a staunch advocate for children and promoted programs that encouraged literacy, education, health care and the arts for children. May she rest in peace.
Thank you USTA Eastern and Mark McIntyre for your generous support of NYJTL!

New York Junior Tennis & Learning commends and stands in full solidarity with the sports community demanding justice for our fellow Black and Brown Americans. We reaffirm the dedication of our visionary founder, Arthur Ashe, and continue to be committed to provide children of every color the opportunity to excel and reach their full potential through tennis and education. NYJTL adds its voice to the fight to end racial injustice and discrimination in our country. The violence must stop now. #BlackLivesMatter
