Take short movement breaks from your desk whether you're working at home or back at the office! Try these bodyweight squats using a chair to get your heart rate up a little and for lower body/ab strength. 1. Stand in front of your chair with your feet shoulder-width apart. 2. Slowly sit back toward the chair without sitting all the way down (lightly touch the chair but don’t sit down). Engage your abdominal muscles to help support your back. Stand back up and press your hi...ps slightly forward at the top to engage your glutes. 3. Keep your weight in your heels throughout the movement. Reaching your arms out in front of you may provide a counterweight to help you sit deeper into the squat. Repeat 20X throughout your day.
