Attention all Coaches, Parents and Athletes! All of us at Next Level P.T are committed to keeping our athletes safe! As the fall season is approaching, our young and seasoned athletes are getting ready. At Next level, we now offer sports screenings at low cost! We review your child's medical history and evaluate their posture, ROM, strength, balance, stability/agility and perform baseline concussion screenings. Recommendations are made based on our findings, as well as sport specific injury prevention. A personalized exercise program can also be created including flexibility, strength and conditioning to minimize injury and maximize performance. Meet Mike! 72 years old, he had a cancerous tumor in his cervical spine. He underwent a neck fusion in February and needed chemotherapy. This setback led him to... be in a wheelchair for a year. As of December 2018 he started therapy with us when he was wheelchair bound. After some time with us he was able to walk down the aisle at his granddaughters wedding with a cane/walker. Now he has fully transitioned to the walker and the cane depending on the situation. Mike is now able to live his life mostly independently and experience new things, with little assistance when needed. The Biodex was a main component on his rehab and you can see him crush the timed up and go test(TUG).
