97% of dairy farms are family owned. These families pour their hearts and souls into taking care of their animals and making a safe and healthy product for you... to enjoy. I love seeing kids on farms, taking care of animals and seeing the passion their parents passed onto them. I couldn't think of a better place to raise a family. Take time and thank a farmer today. #familyfarming #thanksafarmer #drinkmilk See more

Milk and other dairy products are an excellent source of calcium, phosphorous, protein and other essential nutrients that support bone growth and overall health.... Here are some quick facts: ***1 cup of milk contain 300mg- almost 30% of daily requirements. ***Dairy has consistently led to improved bone health in randomized controlled trials in every age group. That’s what counts! ***Calcium absorption from milk is higher than from some non-dairy foods that contain smaller amounts of calcium. For example, only 5 percent of the calcium in spinach is absorbed and usable by the body, while 28 percent of the calcium in milk is absorbed. ***The calcium in 1 cup of milk is equivalent to the amount of calcium found in 1 cup of yogurt, 1 and 1/2 ounces of cheese, or 2 ounces of processed cheese. #calciumfacts #drinkmilk
