UPDATE- missing 15-year-old Julianne Lanzieri has been located in good health! She was originally reported missing on Friday May 14, 2021. Troopers out of SP Boston handled the incident.

On 5-15-2021 at approximately 10:00 pm. Cole Geise was recognized by an alert citizen who notified Olean Police. He is safe and is being reunited with his family.

A happy outcome.

Outdoor safety tip: Create a physical barrier that makes it more difficult for ticks to crawl up your pant leg by wearing gaiters or tucking your pants into your socks. Increase the effectiveness by applying a chemical repellent like permethrin onto your boots, gaiters and other outdoor clothing. Don't worry, nobody will judge you on the trail for slacks in your socks.

Update on the search for Cole Geise in Olean: Over the last week, NFSAR members have conducted ground searches and deployed K9 teams in the continued search for Mr Geise. So far the combined resources of several agencies have been unable to locate him. We will continue to contribute assets to this search as requested by IC.

Cole Geise, 22, has autism, and hasn’t been seen since Sunday. Please be on the lookout for him in your travels. Safe searching to NFSAR, NY FEDSAR and every other agency that is responding to this search.
