A huge Thank You to Robert Daley for donating to NSC a Laser sailboat that he just purchased earlier this week! This Laser will be used for the NSC Junior Sailing Program. More info on this year's Junior Sailing Program to come soon!

What an incredible turn out for NSC's 2021 Memorial Day Opening and Flag Raising Ceremony! Thank you everyone for coming! Our flags were, miraculously, salvaged from the remnants by the Fire Department. Thanks to member Rob Cascio, for the use of his ceremonial cannon. The traditions continue!

Really productive work party yesterday. I was a bit busy and could not take a lot of pictures but I did get these two dirty jobs captured. Power washing the foundation and digging debris- this included dishes - yes dishes - out of the sump pump. Really adds a new level to Work Party.

Day 1 of Junior Sailing Program 2020. Setting the ground rules.

We did get a Chili Cook Off in the 2020 books before COVID 19 hit. The 2021 Chili Cook Off was schedule for April 3, 2021. As fate would have it, instead of a Chili Cook Off, the clubhouse's burned remains were demolished that day. Also as fate would have it, the Chili Cup was removed from the club prior to the fire and was being engraved at the time the fire destroyed NSC!! We still have a trophy!!! It will be returned to the new NSC clubhouse ceremoniously in the fut...ure! Is "feel the burn" appropriate here? lol.

Niagara Sailing Club is experiencing a boon in membership. For the first time in 35 years, there will be 5 sailboats moored in front of the club for the summer. The docks are full of power boats and all but one jet ski platform is rented. Oh, yeah, and THE POOL IS OPEN and looks INCREDIBLE thanks to Dr. Mike Merletti!

2017 NSC Commodore Ball

The Niagara Sailing Club honors the life and legacy of club member Betty Christensen, who passed away this morning just shy of her 103rd birthday. Please keep Betty, her family and the great many friends she had, in your thoughts and prayers. Service details pending.
