While we are all rushing to ditch the winter coats and soak up as much of that incredible vitamin D as we can, the Nickel City family has one request, reflect and protect! Yep, I’m talking SPF. Sun care should be an every day thing. Even if it’s cloudy and you never burn. Unprotected sun exposure is the number one cause of premature aging and skin cancer. SPF is your best weapon against the sun’s negative side effects. Okay, you’re wearing your sunscreen, yay! Is it natural? Good for your skin and body? Environmentally friendly? Take eyebrows for example...We take brows very seriously! They frame your face and they’re the star of the show especially when you’re wearing a mask. Each service includes a consultation to discuss what our clients are looking for and the shape that correctly compliments your features. Then we will trim, wax using a cream hard wax that doesn’t stick to the skin and is very gentle. You’ll leave us feeling your best!! We also offer and specialize in full body waxing! For any other body services - we ask that the hair is grown out at least 2 and a half weeks before hand so it is long enough for the wax to grab. Consistent waxing (about once a month) is beneficial to keep the skin smooth and lessen your chance of pesky ingrown hairs. Waxing also thins and slows down hair growth! Who doesn’t want that!? Intro Into The Shadow This is a 6 class course and limited to a class size of 3. Each class will be approximately 3 hours and we will meet every 3 weeks.... The Shadow is those parts of ourselves we deny and stuff deep into ourselves. Those parts of ourselves we will not acknowledge. But in the act of denying the Shadow, it is actually controlling you and stopping you from you living your authentic life. Do you feel blocked? Stuck in old patterns and not able to move forward and live the life you want? In this course you will look at those deep places within yourself, those hidden places to break the blocks that hold you back. Within the Shadow is much wisdom, through Shamanic Journey work you will find blocks, release old patterns and embrace your Shadow Self. Traveling into the darkness you will find peace and healing. Without darkness there can be no light. Both must be balanced. Classes are scheduled Saturday mornings and will be approximately 3 weeks apart. The cost of each class is $45, and you must sign up for all 6. There is a $25 deposit required at the time of sign up. Class payment may be made at the time of each class, and I ask that you honor your commitment to all 6 classes.
