Last year when I was still working in NYC I started this #thirstythursday weekly posting about my favorite local coffee shops and those I stumbled upon while on-the-go. For the most part, I don’t care much for large National and international coffee chains, and I much rather go to small neighborhood cafes, where coffee is likely to be better. And hey - we all need to support our local businesses - today more than ever! I always drink a cappuccino with skim milk and occasional...ly add a side of a pastry or a fruit. Other than having good coffee and great food - it’s a place where everybody know my name (they call me: Ms. Skim-Cap ). When I stopped by today they ran out of pastries but I was able to get a @balthazarny loaf of bread which is the one they use for their yummy avocado toast.
