Want to lend a hand? We could use some volunteers to spread out the new wood chips. If your high school student or scout needs to do some community services hours, this activity counts; because we are a non-profit organization. Call Steve at 315-583-5500 Call Steve.......

Did you know you can "walk" a labyrinth with your finger? Set your intention and then trace the path slowly and mindfully.
For World Labyrinth Day - May 1 - BJ created this video for you so it is actually like you are walking the Labyrinth. Nice. https://youtu.be/Tz0DarxurH0
May 1 is World Labyrinth Day where we walk as one at 1 pm wherever you are in the world to create a wave of peace. You are welcome to walk the Labyrinth at KYWC or if you prefer a virtual experience, BJ, Steve, and Nancy created this video for you so you could walk the labyrinth with them. https://youtu.be/pduHPZOlQ2Q
Have a great day !
Did you know that Vinyasa Yoga helps your body get stronger and more flexible? It has cardiovascular benefits, promotes proper breathing and detoxification, and reduces stress (which is awesome for your immune system). Carla VanWormer is offering Vinyasa classes on Thursdays from 4-5:15 pm at KYWC. (other days/times, too). For more info and to register, contact Carla through text at 315-408-7569 (please include name when texting), email : [email protected], and Facebook messenger Carla Chase VanWormer. Hope to see you there!

Think you need to pound the pavement in order to obtain the brain-boosting benefits of exercise? Studies show yoga may be just as good as aerobics when it comes to maintaining a healthy brain!
Thank you, Steve, Nancy, Val, Scott, Diane, Michelle, and Tony for helping to transform the side of the yoga center into a lovely pollinator garden with roses, yarrow, gayfeather, echinacea, chrysanthemums, anise hyssop, and more. It was a big job! Not seen are the daffodils, narcissus, and alliums waiting underground until spring or the flowering groundcover that will go in next spring. New plantings are out by the labyrinth, too. Here are the before and after photos (excited to see it bloom next year!)
Yoga has many mental and physical health benefits. What do you think, should it be classified as an essential service? If you say "yes", click on the link below and sign the petition.

Join us for a yoga workshop on Sept 20th. Bring a friend!
Thank you so much, Michelle and Tony for gardening with us today. We made good progress. Much appreciated. Next work day is Saturday at 10 am.
Can you help? We need volunteer gardeners for digging, planting our pollinator-friendly plants, and weeding on the side of the Center. If you can help out this week or next for a couple of hours (from 10am-noon), please call Steve at 315-583-5500. You can stay as far away from other people as you like, there are only a few of us working. Thank you!
