MINIFIGURE MANIA CHALLENGE #1 This week we challenge you to create an action-packed photo with your Lego minifigures. What adventures are in store for your characters? What worlds will they explore? What physical feats will they perform? We can't wait to see what you come up with! Details: Photograph your minifigure(s) in a unique environment that tells a story and share it with us! Visit our Facebook or Instagram page each Monday for our photo challenge details and helpfu...l set-up tips. Participants may submit up to two (2) photos per week for a chance to win a minifigure! Tag us in your photo on Instagram or post to the comments on our Facebook page challenge post. Include your child's first name (or nickname) and write a brief description describing what is happening in your photo(s). All submissions must be posted each Friday by 5pm. We will announce the winners each Monday. One winner will be chosen at random. The second prize will be awarded to the photo with the most engagement/likes. This activity is a great opportunity to encourage children to look at their surroundings with a fresh perspective. Sometimes... there’s more than meets the eye. Swipe to reveal two very different takes on an iconic image. In the first image, researchers revisited one of @NASAHubble's most popular sights: the Eagle Nebula’s Pillars of Creation. Here, the pillars are seen in infrared light, which pierces through obscuring dust and gas and unveil a more unfamiliar but just as amazing view of the pillars.
