These typically appear about once per month, so it’s not really a spectacle anymore: just a couple new coffees from @drink.knockabout arriving exclusively at our cafe @nomadcoffeecrepes and knockaboutcoffee.com Announcement to Nomad patrons: starting MON 1/18, we will be shortening our hours to 7AM-5PM and closing on Tuesdays until further notice. We’d love nothing more than to continue slingin’ drinks and spinning crepes for you folks 7 days/week, but unfortunately you gotta make it worth our while, and we’re not getting any busier at the moment. Update: closing temporarily (again!) After only three days of being back open, one of our employees today notified us that they were running a fever and would not be able to work this afternoon, hence why we shut down early. So, until we go through the same song and dance all over againgetting tested and working w/ the health dept. to cross our T’sI suppose we oughta close again. Hopefully, we’ll be able to navigate through this process quickly like the last time. This is getting old. Some of you folks may have noticed that we closed early today. During service today, I was informed by an employee over the phone that they’d been contact-traced to someone that tested positive for COVID-19. This employee worked Monday afternoon from 2-7PM, and upon hearing of direct-contact, received rapid testing this afternoon. For everybody’s safety, we will not be opening our doors until *everyone’s* test results come back. Nothing hurts us more than turning away business and missing our regulars, but we gotta keep you guys safe. Keep you postedwe’ll miss you
