Whether res...ponding to emergencies behind these doors that warrant rapid entry or delayed entry. You will need to weigh your options in regard to methods of entry. I will argue that entry gained through the lock will be far faster, more efficient, and cause less damage than most other methods. Here are some examples of TTL used on actual calls. One was a spin out with a pair of modified ChannelLocks and the other a pull with the Rex tool. Both pulls used the modified ends of the ChannelLocks to manipulate the latch. The Rex pull allowed us to reset the cylinder using the original set screw and allow the building to be secured. Both took minimal effort and very little time. We should attempt to avoid the smashing out or attempted taking of the glass. This creates uncontrolled ventilation and access hazards while operating through the opening. Sanata will be making his way around the north end of the fire district later today. Company 2 will hold their annual Santa run starting at 4pm today. The routes and approximate times are listed below. Watch this site, a real time Santa tracker will be posted later today. Sadly Santa will not be able to stop for individual photos with families this year, but he will drive by slow enough to say hi from his sleigh.

The Memorial Day Parade scheduled for Monday has been canceled. But the North Bellmore Fire Department will be participating in a salute to honor those who died serving our great country by sounding our horns/sirens at 11am along with other fire departments across Long Island.
